A Little Bit About Me
Introducing Bill Black, an exceptionally talented musician whose unique sound is a charming blend of the blues, country, folk, and classic rock genres. With a diverse range of musical influences, Black draws inspiration from legendary artists such as Neil Young, Blue Rodeo, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and many others. This mixture of genres and legendary influences has shaped Black’s musical style and sound into something truly remarkable.
A multi-talented solo artist, Black is a singer/songwriter who plays guitar, as well as mandolin, fiddle, ukulele, saxophone and piano. He is also an incredibly gifted harmonica player. With a collection of songs written over the past two to three years, and based on personal experiences, the time came to record his own album.
Black’s debut album, a captivating twelve-song collection called My Favourite Kinda Trouble, was released in December 2022. With catchy melodies and whimsical, thought-provoking lyrics, each track invites listeners to sing along, dance, and live for the moment. The album is an irresistible blend of upbeat rhythms, with tongue-in-cheek hidden meanings in the lyrics that leave a lasting impression and celebrate the magic found in My Favourite Kinda Trouble!
